Water works, wastewater treatment plants, industry and public swimming pools rank among our customers. Our business is divided into three divisions - pool, water and industry.
The Pool Division deals with all kinds of public swimming and bathing facilities with Weda´s top-of-the-line pool cleaners (or pool vacuums if you prefer). From regular swimming facilities and rehabilitation pools to huge water parks, lazy rivers etc., Weda has the ultimate cleaner.
The Industrial Division handles all sorts of under water cleaning projects that fall outside the two divisions mentioned above. Weda has delivered and installed cleaners in nuclear power plants, glass factories, fish farms, gypsum plants, pulp and paper mills and several other applications where there is a need for cleaning (sludge removal) without having to drain the water.
The Water Division offers a range of products for handling (removal) of sludge and sediment in a variety of tanks and basins in the potable water industry as well as the sewage handling field. All products are built for under water work.
The product range for these applications has been developed and designed in close cooperation with some of the major water companies and organisations in the world. Stockholm Water has played a major role in the development and has offered their facilities for testing and verification of the products.
Weda is a long time member of the American Water Works Association and several other water organisations around the world.
Today the Weda under water cleaners are actively cleaning tanks and reservoirs in locations from Tasmania to Vancouver which proves to us that we have managed to convince a great part of the world that new methods may be more effective than the old manual methods using divers or draining/high pressure washing or whatever method that is presently used.
