WEDA in Romania

13 Feb 2020

Seven million people in rural areas of Romania get their drinking water from wells. These wells are often polluted with nitrates, bacteria, and pesticides. ... The Romanian national drinking water legislation has however been adapted to conform to the EU directives. Although we feel that most visitors to Romania do not drink the tap water…yet. Last week a Weda team took a Weda van with the latest model VR-600-system and auxilliary equipment to Romania for a couple of very successful demonstrations in various types of drinking water reservoirs in a few cities in Romania. A first step towards keeping the reservoirs free from sediment through future regular on-line robotic cleaning. We are grateful for the possibilty to become a part of the plan in Romania for an improved drinking water quality
